“The Q Hybrid Series DTG/DTF printers will impress and surpass the requirements of the most seasoned professional garment decorators and we are excited to showcase our garment print solutions at the upcoming FESPA event in Berlin. Also on display will be our prototype Q1•T Series dedicated roll-to-roll DTF transfer printer. The Q1•T Series is designed for 24/7 operation and perfect for any garment decorator looking to expand and simplify the entire transfer printing process. We look forward to showcasing our solution at the trade show.”

The FESPA Expo will feature products:

Q1 Q2 Hybrid Series Printers / DTG/DTF Hybrid (DTG digital)

 Q2 it.jpg

There are two Q Hybrid Series models available: the Q1 or Q2. The Q Hybrid Series DTG/DTF is the first to incorporate transfer printing through proprietary reverse firmware. This creates a hybrid industrial process that allows seamless transfer and direct prints to be produced on one printing platform. The Q1 can produce 50 to 75 dark garments an hour, while the Q2 model can produce as many as 75 light garments. In production mode, the Q2 model can produce as many as 100 dark garments an hour and as many light shirts. Both models can be used to print on T-Shirts and apparel, as well outdoor wear, sportswear and other fabrics. The Q Hybrid Series Printers provide the garment decoration industry with the flexibility, efficiency, and versatility needed to quickly scale up production.

Q1•T Series Printer / roll-to-roll transfer (DTG Digital)

DTF roll-to–roll transfer printing system to create indirect fabric decoration. The transfer is printed onto translucent PET film rolls before being passed through an inline powder glue station. The in-line system can print, polymerise and cure the glue layer before heat transfer applications onto a variety of natural and synthetic fabrics including nylons, polyesters and poly-cotton blendeds. The Q1•T Series Printer simplifies the transfer printing process while simultaneously boosting production capacity and application versatility The dimensions of the Q1-T Series measures 1330mm(W) x 1250mm(H) x 2100(L)mm – assembled and 770mm (W) x 1080mm (H) x 1610 (L)mm – unassembled and fits through a standard doorway.

DTF Kit / Transfer kit (PPS Innovations)

  it dtf kit.jpg

DTF Kits were created to allow existing DTG users of Epson and Brother printers that use textile pigmented inks chemistry to print DTF transfer transfers on their existing DTG printer setup. Indirect transfer printing has the distinct advantage of being able to decorate synthetic fabrics such as Sportswear and Outdoor wear. Also, it allows for embellishment on difficult surfaces like bags and caps which may have curves and flaps that make direct printing impractical. The DTF Kit includes a heat-controlled modular platen that reduces ink bleed when film printing is done, printable transfer sheets, TPU powder glue which can be applied via a shaker, and a PPS melt box to cure the ink layer. Powder glue can then be used to heat transfer to garments. The heat-controlled platen stabilizes the ink during printing and reduces colour bleed. This in turn enhances image quality as well as transfer quality. TPU powder glue can be used to reduce static buildup on the printable film. It allows for precise glue to ink adhesion as well as flexibility in different fabric types to allow for decoration. The PPS Melt Cure Box is heat-controlled and timer controlled and cures the glue and printed film before pressing. DTG users can also avail of Kodak’s DTF specific ink-set as an option.

T-Fold Machine/ Folding and assisted bagging Tees (PPS Innovations)

The T–Fold is a benchtop, all electric-driven T-Shirt folding machine and assisted bagging system. It’s designed for DTG sectors and automates T-Shirt and garment folding. The T-Fold takes just four seconds to fold the shirt and then presents it ready for bagging. This is a range of 350 to 550 shirts an hour, depending on how many fold cycles are selected.

All electric, the T-Fold can run directly from any standard wall plug without the need for compressed air. The T-Fold is lightweight, yet it’s built to industrial standards.

PRE-T Machine / Pre- treat garments for digital printing (PPS innovations)

 pre-t.jpg

The Pre-T can be used to pre-treat small or large quantities of garments before digital printing. The PRE-T Machine is designed to be used by current DTG workers and can handle the heavy equipment demands of garment decoration companies. For long-lasting durability, the PRE-T machine is made of metal and coated in ACF-50 anticorrosion film. Unique spray nozzle technology delivers precise surface coating without clogging. The PRE-T can be easily cleaned and maintained with an integrated semiautomated cleaning function. For operator safety, the unit completely encapsulates the shirt during pre-treatment and does not leave any misting in the print area. The unit is ready to use when the user has set the pre-treat amount and loaded the garment.
