Ayurveda startup NirogStreet raises $12M in Series B round led by Jungle Ventures


Startup in Delhi offering Ayurveda NirogStreet The company has raised $12 Million in Series B funding led by Jungle Ventures. Existing investors Spiral Ventures and ICMG Co-Creation Fund as well as angel investors such DoorDashGokul Rajaram of SMBC and Rajeev Kannan, the Japanese bank’s APAC chief, also participated in this round.

Anthony Weldon’s extended family has also contributed to the round. The company plans to use the funds for its supply chain, services offerings, and technology.

NirogStreet was founded in 2016 by Ram Kumar N. It uses technology to offer a variety of services, including doctor prescriptions and peer-to-peer learning. This includes over 50,000 Ayurvedic doctors.

Ram and his team are creating an industry-first Ayurveda environment with their unique community-first approach to knowledge and commerce that transcends from consumers to ingredients,” stated Anurag Srivastava (founding partner at Jungle Ventures).

In December 2013, the company raised $4million in a round led CE Ventures, which is Crescent Enterprises’ corporate venture capital platform. Livspace Anuj Srivastava, CEO and Gokul Rajaram Board Member Coinbase Pinterest and Twitter also took part in the round.
