Office bearers of the Democratic Teachers’ Front (DTF) accused Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for not fulfilling public announcement with regard to the demands of computer teachers made on Diwali.

DTF state President Vikram Singh, Mukesh Kuma and Ashwani Ashwani, the finance secretary Ashwani Ashwani and state general secretary Ashwani Kumar stated in a Sunday release that the Education Minister had promised to implement the Sixth Pay Commission Report recommendations and the rules of the civil service for computer teachers. They claimed that not honoring their promises was a grave question mark for the credibility of AAP government.

They claimed that the faculty of computer science had been providing education to students at government schools for 18 years but that successive governments didn’t offer them many benefits such as permanent employment. In this regard, they sought the intervention of Chief Minister Bhagwant Man.
