“Both Impression Technology Australia and Pigment.Inc Europe have worked tirelessly to develop and deliver to industry what we believe are truly innovative equipment choices for the garment decoration sector,” said Impression Technology Australia CEO Steve Richardson.

“We work closely with our global distributors to understand what the end user is looking for in equipment performance. Garment decoration companies are seeking to improve their production processes and tackle a wider range of print applications. They want printing systems that are simple to use, quick to produce and easy to maintain.

“The Q1 and Q2 Hybrid Series printers are designed to meet this demand with truly versatile DTG and DTF printing capability packed into an industrial build quality that delivers on print speed, reduced maintenance and true print versatility from one printing device. The Q1 Hybrid Series allows users to decorate natural and synthetic materials such as T-Shirts and sportswear, bags, leather goods, and other substrates that were not possible with DTG printing. The Q Hybrid Series is able to print DTG and DTF at the touch of a button.

There are two Q Hybrid Series models available: the Q1 or Q2. The Q Hybrid Series DTG/DTF, which is the first of its kind in this field, incorporates transfer printing via proprietary reverse firmware. This allows for seamless transfer and direct printing on a single platform. The Q1 can produce up to 50 dark and 75 light garments per hour. The Q2 model is capable of producing up to 100 dark garments and 150 light shirts per hour in production mode. Both models are suitable for industrial printing on Tshirts, apparel, sportswear, outdoor wear, and other fabric products. The Q Hybrid Series Printers provide the garment decoration industry with the flexibility, efficiency, and versatility needed to quickly scale up production.

Q1•T Series Printer / roll-to-roll transfer (DTG Digital)

DTF roll to-roll transfer printing system that can be used for indirect fabric decoration. The transfer is printed onto translucent PET film rolls before being passed through an inline powder glue station. The in-line system can print, polymerize and cure the ink layer before heat transfer applications onto a wide variety of natural and synthetic fabrics including cottons. The Q1•T Series Printer simplifies the transfer printing process while simultaneously boosting production capacity and application versatility The dimensions of the Q1-T Series measures 1330mm(W) x 1250mm(H) x 2100(L)mm – assembled and 770mm (W) x 1080mm (H) x 1610 (L)mm – unassembled and fits through a standard doorway.

DTF Kit/transfer kit (PPS innovations).

  it dtf kit.jpg

DTF Kit was created for existing DTG users, including Brother, Epson, and Brother. It allows them to print DTF transfers using their existing DTG printer setup. Indirect transfer printing offers a unique opportunity to decorate synthetic fabrics, including sportswear and outdoor wear. It also allows you to embellish hard surfaces such as caps and bags that can have curves or flaps, making direct printing impossible. The DTF Kit contains a heat-controlled platen, printable transfer sheets and a TPU powder adhesive that can be used via a shaker. A PPS Melt Box is also included to allow both the ink and powder glue to dry before heat transfer onto garments. The heat-controlled plates stabilize the ink while printing, thereby reducing colour bleeding on the film. This results in improved image and transfer quality. TPU powder glue can be used to reduce static buildup on the printable film. It allows for precise glue to ink adhesion as well as flexibility for different fabric types. The PPS Melt Curebox is a timer-controlled heat adjustable unit that cures both the glue and printed films before they are pressed. DTG users can also avail of Kodak’s DTF specific ink-set as an option.

T-Fold Machine/ Folding and Assist Bagging Tees (PPS Innovations)

The T–Fold is a benchtop, all electric-driven T-Shirt folding machine and assisted bagging system. It’s designed for DTG sectors and automates T-Shirt and garment folding. The T-Fold folds in four seconds and presents the shirt ready to bagging. This equates to between 350 to 550 shirts per an hour for one operator depending on the folded cycle.

The T-Fold is all electric and can be used with any standard wall plug. The T-Fold can be carried, but it is built to industrial quality specifications.

PRE-T Machine / Pre- treat garments for digital printing (PPS innovations)

 pre-t.jpg

The Pre-T can be used to pre-treat small or large quantities of garments before digital printing. The new PRE-T Machine was designed with current DTG operators and is built to meet the demanding equipment requirements of garment decoration businesses. For long-lasting durability, the PRE-T machine is made of metal and coated in ACF-50 anticorrosion film. The unique spray nozzle system provides precise surface coating without clogging. With an integrated semi-automated cleaning feature, the PRE-T is easy to clean. For operator safety, the unit completely encapsulates the shirt during pre-treatment and does not leave any misting in the print area. The unit is ready to use when the user has set the pre-treat amount and loaded the garment.
