Closed on Monday, as the company tried to raise cash for repairs.

The man who was arrested by Atlanta police and identified as Abreu William, continued to throw the object twice more at the window.

“They broke the front window. No altercation had taken place. They just did it and walked off,” said Jalani Traxler with Glaciers Italian Ice ATL.

Traxler said it’s disturbing because this situation is not only affecting the business but the kids, they help.

“To give children specifically, black teenage boys jobs between the ages of 14-17,” said Traxler.

Traxler stated that Glaciers Italian Ice is a supporter of a youth entrepreneurial program.

“Black youth especially on the side of the street selling water or getting out of juvenile lockup, or just having a hard time at home need an outlet. They need a space,” he said.

Traxler stated that not only did the man break into their space, but he also vandalized.

“The emblem being there, the Swastika being there does create a dark contrast,” said Traxler.

Williams was said to be having a crisis of mental health at that time.

The business has closed temporarily while it repairs the damage.
