Mimaki unveils faster DTF printer

Mimaki Europe developed a direct-to film (DTF), which prints faster than the existing technology.

The TxF30075 printer from the manufacturer incorporates all the features and stability of the TxF15075 DTF printer while offering three times the print speed.

Mimaki stated that the device would be suitable for larger companies who require high volumes of quality output.

“We believe in giving customers choice and anticipating their needs, which is why we are expanding our DTF printer line-up hot on the heels of the inaugural system,” said Arjen Evertse, general sales manager at Mimaki Europe.

“The TxF300-75 has been designed to offer even greater productivity. The 80cm [800mm] width introduced with our first DTF printer remains a feature of this new system, enabling customers to print more efficiently.”

Mimaki says that the DTF printers are reliable because of the ink circulation system, which prevents the white ink from clogging. They also have a degassed pack of ink, which reduces the risk of bad inkjetting.

The printer includes Mimaki core features such as NCU (Nozzle check Unit) and Nozzle recovery System (NRS) to ensure stable and uninterrupted print production.

DTF also allows you to print on fabrics such as dark colored fabrics, cotton, mixed fabrics, polyester and darker coloured fabric.

In line with Mimaki’s sustainability goals, the TxF300-75 utilises Mimaki’s PHT50 pigment inks which are Eco-Passport certified, validating their lower environmental impact and meeting the requirements for Oeko-Tex certification.

Hybrid Services, which will distribute in these areas, will make the machine commercially available to UK and Ireland during Q4 of 2023.
